    That's not correct i think. The word "usual" doesn't imply only being a bigger part of a time period, it also implies a high frequency. It must be happened nearly everyday to tell something "usual".

    It's truer to say something like that for this situation "I would usually come to work by 9 in previous months".

    p.s. please consider that i'm also not a native speaker. sorry for any misinformation.
