The first successful mechanical dishwasher was invented by Josephine Garis (W. A.) Cochrane of Shelby ville, Illinois, in 1887, which she unveiled at the 1893 Chicago World's Fair. But only the hotels and large restaurants were showing their interest. Cochran's small company was eventually associated with the Kitchenaid company. Adoption was greatest at first in commercial environments, but by the 1970s dishwashers had become commonplace in domestic residences in the US. https://goo.gl/oSyMbP

What happens to the bullet when you shoot in the air with a gun ? Everything goes high to a point and have to come down. This applies for the bullet too. The gravity of earth can't allow the bullet to get out of its reach. When you fire a gun into the air, it's bullet will go as high as it has force provided by the gun, but after reaching the maximum height it will fall. If there were no atmosphere a bullet fired up into the air would come back down with this same amount of energy but air resistance makes a big difference and cuts the final speed of the descending bullet.

Speedway race bikes don't have brakes and also have only one gear. These bikes slow to an almost instant halt, as soon as the throttle is released. Speedway motorcycles racing takes place on a flat oval track usually consisting of dirt or loosely packed shale. This sports involves four and sometimes up to six riders competing over four anti-clockwise laps of an oval circuit. Riders use this surface to be able to slide their bikes sideways into the bends, this is often referred to as power sliding or broadsiding. When racing, riders can reach speeds of up to 70mph (110 kmph) on the straight sections of the tracks. https://goo.gl/ouG77G
